The federal college of education in affiliation with UNICAL held her first matriculation ceremony on 14th of April 2012 @ senator Greg Ngaji Lecture theatre in FCE Obudu.
This matriculation was aimed at ushering in of the degree (B. ED) & professional diploma (PGDE) students.
The dignitaries in attendance were; the V.C University of Calabar, Director of Acad. Programme UNICAL, e.t.c & the provost federal college of education obudu, Dean of the various schools, HODs and staff of the college.
In a remarkable speech, the provost says, indeed it is a great day in the history of the college since the establishment of the school in 1982. He advised the matriculants to be well behaved and put away all act of cultism, fraternities, joining of unacceptable groups & immoral behaviours so as to achieve their aim of been in the college.
After the oat taking, the matriculants were fully initiated into the membership of the university of Calabar. The event was brought to an end by a word of prayer said by pastor Ezekiel: a staff of the college.  |
